What happens at the start of a film?

• At the beginning of  a film the production company are shown.

• Then the title sequence is introduced.

• key characters are introduced. For example in the movie "Think like a man",  characters were introduced at the beginning.

•   Music/sound establishes the mood and keeps the viewer interested in watching the whole movie.

              

• We the get idea of the location/ setting of the film.

 

 

• The genre of the film is then established  and the storyline /plot begins for example we know at the beginning of the film whether the film is a scary film, romantic, comedy, horror, thriller, fantasy, sci-fi or action.
