I was in charge of the costume for the characters. Therefore I used the storyboard to help me decide on what should be worn. Without the storyboard it would have been impossible because costumes had to be decided according to the weather, place, role, gender, personality of the characters. For example I couldn't decide whether to make a character wear a fancy dress if she supposed to be in college as college requires casual clothing unless the character is a princess/popular girl. I chose dark clothes for the present Leah as the colours reflect her current mood in out film opening. I used lighter coloured clothes for the flashbacks as it created a good contrast between her emotions in the present and the past.
