PRELIM
The prelim pre production, production and and post production differs from our film opening as our knowledge, experience and skills were limited. It was quite rushed and there was no development with sound. I also think that our lighting was very dull and could have been improved with a better location. I also think that working together as a team for the first time proved to be quite challenging as we were not aware of how to bring our prelim's potential out through teamwork. I also discovered the difficulties with less preparation and the editing was shared between Yasminn and I which brought out inconsistency in our work. I also believe out match cuts were not smooth enough and our use of the 180 degree and thirds rule was not captured properly. In the end, it had no production and distribution company and it compares to very low budget film shorts and could be improved by a huge amount.

I also found that for advertising and marketing, we each put our own input into social media sites and promoting our video through our films promotional pack. I also saw our distribution and marketing strategies to be quite professional from our animatics and vlog feedbacks. In terms of technology, we each branched out to different ways of presenting our information and this have given insight to more professional softwares and ideas for our film. Finally, I think that the end product is much more developed and shows how much we have grown from our prelim to our film opening.
FILM OPENING
Practice really does make perfect or at least in our case, better. I think that the overall production was much more organised and detailed including the miss en scene, camera, editing, sounds and overall film. We have developed our use of time in order to accomplish what we have for the duration of this project for example, for production, marketing, distribution and exhibition, we decided to input our time to collecting our scenes for editing and organising the materials needed in order to do these including mise en scene and location as well as storyboards and shot by shot remake lists. In regards to music, creative commons allowed for standards of copyright where we managed to use copyright free music and sound effects to improve our film.I also found that for advertising and marketing, we each put our own input into social media sites and promoting our video through our films promotional pack.
